A voluntary contribution is an additional amount you can choose to give to support Zeffy. This is our only source of revenue and allows us to cover all of the fees for the 50,000+ nonprofits that fundraise with Zeffy.
If the nonprofit you're donating to uses Zeffy's platform, you’ll be asked if you’d like to give an additional contribution at the end of your transaction.
Not everyone gives every time, and that's okay. Our voluntary contribution model is just that: voluntary. If you choose not to leave an additional contribution, your nonprofit still gets 100% of your donation.
